Happy Wednesday Limettes!
Thanksgiving is just a day away and before we can stuff our faces with delicious food, we have to get to where we are going! Since most of you are busy fashionistas, I put together a cheat sheet for packing your weekender.
So read on for what I wear ton travel, what I packed in my weekender & get some time saving, space saving fashionable tips that will have you packed and out the door in no time!
Your weekender tote can cost you $20 or $900, price doesn't matter. The important thing is if you can stuff all your pieces in it easily and still manage to carry it with you. I always choose a weekender that is a carry on size, this way I can fit it on the plane. Not flying? Carry on size is perfect for squeezing in on trains and buses as well. This LeSportsac Weekender tote is only $108 and is perfectly sized to fit all your needs!
ts important to fill your bag up with all the essentials so you won't get stuck with nothing to wear. I usually like to stick to neutral colors and/or black & white and then I accessorize as best as I can to add a pop of color or a trendy twist! Don't forget, travelling for Thanksgiving means you will be home with your family for quality time so there is no need to pack six pairs of stilettos!
My travel outfit is always made up of pieces that I can mix and match with other items while on the trip. Tonight I am travelling in the below look. It is simple, chic & stylish. I chose my seamless leggings and my long knit top as a base. Topped it off with my wrap cardigan and my classic tall uggs for a stylish travel ensemble that is sure to keep me comfy. The best part of this look is I will wear all these pieces again throughout the weekend.
The rest of my bag is filled with classic pieces that I can mix and match for a stylish look..
My J Brand Skinny Jeans are my go to denim. They fit like a glove, look good with everything and are comfortable. Skinny jeans work with boots, flats & heels so no matter what shoe I wear, I know the look will work.

I
typically wear my comfy clothes all weekend long, just because they are so comfortable and we aren't really doing anyting other than eating and spending family time together. But I know sometimes my sister & I like to go get dinner together to catch up. Anticipating this sister quality time, I packed my Unlisted by Kenneth Cole boots and this cowl-neck sweater which I will wear with my leggings. Throw on some hoop earrings and I will be stylish and comfortable.
Just in case I run into some old friends who want to hit the town for some drinks and dancing, I packed this bandage mini skirt & white burnout tee. I'll simply tuck the tee into the mini skirt, throw on my boots and off I go!
Make sure you have some pj's & warm winter accessories to keep you cozy and you will have a weekender tote filled with classic pieces and long-lasting style. Play with your items and have fun, after all what are long weekends for?
Safe Travels & Happy Thanksgiving Limette's!!!
Lots of Lime,
