Coachella Cute: Plus Size Picks for a Stylish Festival Weekend

With the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival just 12 days away, I am sure packing and preparing is on the minds of my fellow festival going music lovers! Coachella is organized by Goldenvoice and is held in Indio, California at the Empire Polo Club in Coachella Valley. The event features many genres of music from Rock to Electronic, has multiple stage/tent set ups & is a 24/7 weekend partyof fun, music & art. This year, the festival will be held over the course of two weekends for the first time ever. Weekend one takes place 4/13-4/15 and the second weekend 4/20-4/22. While I will not be attending this mutli day/two weekend annual music and arts festival (it still remains high on my bucket list), I thought I would pick a few pieces that were festival-practical and easy to pack for your plus size fashionistas who will be attending this, or another music festival, in the coming months!

LWD: A wardrobe staple

We all know the importance of the having the perfect LBD (little black dress) in your wardrobe, and how many wears we get out of that perfect dress once we find it! What I am beginning to understand, however, is that so many of you fabulous fashionistas are underestimating the power of the LBD's sister, the LWD! The LWD (little white dress) is another absolute must have for your closet, and will certainly (if you find the right one) be your go-to item this season. The rules are simple- every feature you look for in your perfect LBD, do the same for the LWD. It should be a classic & sleek silhouette, nothing with too many embellishments or added touches, a fabric & cut that is figure flattering. Your LWD will be your blank canvas to style as you wish, so be sure you choose a dress that is both timeless and effortless.
