{ Style } Classic Chic Style w/ JD Williams

Someone recently asked me how I would define my personal style....."Classic, Chic with a Touch of Trend", I blurted out.

It didn't take long for me to conjure up an answer because as I've gotten older, my understanding of my style personality becomes more and more definite. While my style continues to evolve ever so slightly, it is my love for classic, chic, timeless style that doesn't waver.  Keep reading to find out how I embraced my classic, chic style personality with JD Williams and their style tribes!

{ Travel } Montana Glamping with Catherines Plus Sizes

"What was your favorite part of the trip", Kellie asked, as we all sat enjoying our final candle-lit farm to table meal......

I didn't have to think about it. Honestly, I didn't. Because in the last 3 days I had the chance to disconnect with my everyday and re-connect with myself. Sharing it, of course, with incredible people made it all the more enjoyable. But, truthfully, my answer didn't require much thought. I looked up at the table of women I had gotten to know so well and said "aside from being able to spend this time with each of you, it was being able to fully immerse myself in such beauty. It's really powerful when you have the chance to appreciate how big this world really is, and I'm grateful for that". And I was.  Keep reading to find out all the detail of my glamping experience courtesy of Catherines Plus Sizes! Save

{Stylist Style} Denim X Denim

Here's the thing- I LOVE being dressed. I love everything about it. The process, the dressing, the selection, and the feeling when you look in the mirror and are head to toe put together - it's just something that resonates with me, it's my favorite sport- the sport of "dressing". But for some reason when I go "casual" it becomes this easy grab & go that has no rhyme or reason to it. Keep reading to find out how I made a pact with myself.. and found a chic denim on denim ensemble in the midst of it all!

{Stylist Style} The Perfect Easter Spring Dress feat. Kiyonna

Spring has arrived. Well, sort of. It doesn't officially feel like birds are chirping and spring breezes are blowing, but Spring has officially (according to the calendar that runs the world) has arrived. And while I may have grown up over the years, Easter still brings the same level of excitement. New clothes, fun easter egg hunts and a lovely family dinner! This year is no different.. keep reading to find out where I scored the perfect Easter dress & shop my fav. picks for the holiday weekend

{Stylist Style} Ladylike Layering w/ J.Jill

As a blogger and a stylist, I would say I know the fashion rope fairly well - specifically plus size fashion. So, when a brand like J. Jill comes along and surprises you with how well they have developed, and continue to develop their plus size range - you stop and take notice. Actually, you stop, take some blog photos, make sure you look cute, take notice and commence in sharing with everyone you know because the clothes are THAT great. Keep reading for all the details on this look, more about J.Jill and why I think they are a secret weapon in the plus industry and some style tips and tricks (per the usual).

{Stylist Style} #OwnYourCurves : Fall Colors Forever

Listen, this crazy NY (read: unfortunate global warming) weather is wild. And while some people are looking for snow and winter wonderlands, I'm over here leaving my legs bare and rocking tunic dresses with no jackets/layers or anything! I'll take it (for now at least). I love fall colors, and even though it's winter and I should embrace my deep tones and heavy layers, it just doesn't feel right as of late so here I am.. rocking tunic dresses and whatnot in the warmest fall palette ever. Keep reading for details on this look and why you'll see a few more looks featuring #OwnYourCurves in the next few weeks :)

{LLD Style} #OwnYourCurves with Full Beauty

A few weeks ago I spent a whole day with this crew (and a whole bunch of others) filming a holiday promotional #OwnYourCurves video for Full Beauty. The brand enlisted Meghan Trainor to be the face of (and help pave the body positive path) for their #OwnYourCurves campaign. This time around, they called upon a few familiar faces (ahem, me and like all my homegirls) to continue to promote the message in this #OwnYourCurves Holiday Music Video.
